Jeneffa Soldatic, membro a vita dell'Actor's Studio di New York, si troverà due giorni in Umbria, impegnata in un seminario sul lavoro sul personaggio.

Bisogna presentarsi con un personaggio a propria scelta. Si useranno le tecniche del Metodo; rilassamento su una sedia, senso della memoria, momenti privati ecc. ed esercizi dei maestri Stella Adler, Uta Hagen e Susan Batson. Datevi la possibilta' di vivere un rapporto veramente dinamico con il vostro personaggio, trovando la verità del vostro personaggio, nella vostra verità. Durante questa esplorazione scoprirete il vostro amore incondizionato per il personaggio, perché "bisogna mare fino in fondo il personaggio che si sta interpretando" (Phillip Seymour Hoffman, membro dell'Actor's Studio).

Il seminario, di due giorni (sabato 1 e domenica 2 ottobre, ogni giorno dalle 11:00 alle 18:30), si svolgerà nell'agriturismo La Fortezza Alta, in Umbria, distante circa 90 minuti da Roma. Tutte le info su come arrivare si trovano qui.

Bio di Jeneffa Soldatic

Jeneffa received her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School in New York on a scholarship.
Aftergraduating in 2003 she was encouraged to audition for the Actor's Studio and, consequently, she became the third Australian ever to receive life membership to the Actors Studio in 2004.
Since graduating Jeneffa has been back on stage, in NYC, at the Actors Studio in the premiere of Al Takes a Bride, as well as Waiting for Godot at the original Circle in the Square and Hedda Gabler, Sunday on the Rocks, The Seagull at the Actors Studio Drama School, plus other Off-Broadway shows. Her film credits include Saturn Returns, How Much, A Small Story, Sickie and Room with View.
For television she has appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Fuse TV. She sang with The Polyphonic Spree, touring across America supporting David Bowie. She has run acting workshops in New York City, London and Bangkok. Since returning to Sydney, Jeneffa has worked with B Sharp, All Saints, and has been hired by NIDA (where graduates include Cate Blanchett, and Mel Gibson) Actors Centre Australia (graduates include Hugh Jackman and Naomi Watts), as an Acting teacher and director.
She has been a guest teacher at PACE University, in NYC, and will return to NYC to work on another one woman show at the Living Theatre with Lupe Gehrenbeck.
Jeneffa has worked with the greatest acting coaches of these times, working with Elizabeth Kemp and with Susan Batson, also the Stella Adler technique taught by Keith Aaron; Stella’s last apprentice, Uta Hagan technique learnt at HB Studios.
